Musical lyrics advocating violence should not be allowed

Hey guys, what do you think? Should be allowed musics that advocating violence or not? Well, I agree that this type of music isn't good for our society, kids and teenagers because they pass the idea that commit a crime or violence is something normal and funny. And it can influence children because they don't have maturity to discern what is wrong or not. But I think that everyone has the right to express yourself, and everybody fight and want it, so we can't take it away from a specific group (that who sings or wrote about violence) because it would be unfair, and because sometimes they aren't influencing violence, it can be just a way of expressing themselves. So I think we can't banned this type of music but we can choose what our kids will listening or not. Well, it is what I think. I'm waiting your opinion, please comment! bye bye

  1. I think that they really have their rights, surely we have the ones that are influenced by music, and lots of things, but even this happening, the others don't. And we must have "decision" because if we are like these people that are influenced by everything they see we are "lost", I disagree in parts this case of not allowing lyrics advocating violence.

  2. Hey Ana Clara! I agree with you too, we should control what our children are listening to. Music should be selected inside our home, things must be controled. Kids dont have maturity, and they grow up thinking that crime is normal. This kind of music shouldn't be banned, just controled.

  3. Ana Clara You're great in most part of your comments. To talk about individual rights isn't too easy, I agree that every body in a free country have the right to express their ideas but if We think beyond that , I'm mean, whoever will be listening to our point of view, it might have influence in younger's life people .

  4. I agree with Ana, the individuals right has to be respected, Who am I to judge others? I think people has to know who are they, this is the only way to not be influenced by others.
