I really agree with some points of Marcos's vision, I think that all the plates "SMOKING PROHIBITED" should be respected by the citizens, doing this, we would respect the other people thoughts and don't bother them! But I think that smoking in public areas shouldn't be prohibited because all the people have the choice to choose the place that they want to go. If there is some smokers in a beach, for example, just steer away and go sit in another place. Everybody has the right of smoking. The cigarettes are allowed in law, so we can't do absoluty nothing, just avoid being near smokers. The respect between smokers and non-smokers, its all about consciousness. So, respect all the smokers, if you are bothered, sorry, go for a ride and find a new place! (haha). And if the person smokes weed, be careful what you are gonna say hahaha! /rafaelmonteiroadv4

ReplyDeleteYou make some good points! In the end, if cigarettes are legal, people have to be allowed to smoke them, right? I sure hate when they are next to me though!! Especially when I arrive first and then someone sits next to me and they are smoking. Now I have to get up and move??!!! It isn't fair!! But,.....life isn't always fair :)
in my oppinion, in everywhere, everyplace should be an especial area for people that smokes and people that don't, because smoking does not make good for health, and people that don't smoke must not be obligated to smells smoke

ReplyDeleteI think that even everybody having the right of smoking they could respect the ones that don't smoke, because even they smoking they know how it is prejudicial for everybody's health, so they may have consciousness and contribute with non-smokers.
ReplyDeleteI think all we have rights, so if smoking is allowed, some people will smoke, and how they're normal people, they'll go out home and smoke , always search an open place (obviously!) , and who feel uncomfortable , leave the smoke .
ReplyDeleteI agree with Rafael in some points.I agree that the smokers should choose by themselves the place to smoke,but i disagree in the part that he says that the people who get annoyed by a smoker must get far away from the smoker.I think that the smoker has to have enough consciousness(to not affect others health)and doesn't go near the non-smokers.Karen Tabata.
ReplyDeleteI was born in a fou siblings Family and ever we've been brought up in good conditions to became smokers, we didn't. I have no doubt about the demage that smoking does. Lung cancer and pulmonar emphizema are some of the worst diseas caused by smothing. People have diferente view about non-smokers in public places, smokers think they can smoke where and when they want, and non-smokers feel like their rights are been violated , of course it is. To me, as a non-smoker,I desagree with Rafael he said that cigarettes are legal so we should stay away from them, my oppinion is that they should stay away from the non-smokers, and smoking in public place should be banned in order to create a healthier country but I understand that it is a very controversial measure because the smokers are also very good consumers and no one businesses places would like to ban such a good costumers like they are.
