I think that was Dumont who invented the airplane. 1906, when 14bis flight for the fist time. Two years later, the Wright brothers appear with the new that they flight with Flyer in 1903, and they have pectures to prove. But just some pctures can`t prove anything. Just more one thing, ok let`s asume that was the Wright brothers who flight first, but according with Gustavo Mello(historian Aerospace Museum), the American brothers had a glider with a motor, not a plane.
